How to submit a copyright complaint

If you believe that material available on this website infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to represent, send a written notice to [email protected] . Include the page address, a description of the material in question, and an explanation of the rights involved. Reports may concern photographs of bicycles or components, original cycling articles, illustrations, graphics, maintenance instructions, or other protected content.

Please provide sufficient detail to distinguish the reported material from other content on the website. Where practical, identify the specific image, paragraph, graphic, or section rather than referring only to an entire page. A clear and focused report helps the website operator understand the concern and determine what additional information may be needed.

Submitting a complaint does not automatically establish that infringement has occurred. Each report should be reviewed in context, including the identity of the material, the rights asserted, and any relevant authorization or legal basis for its use. A report may require clarification before a decision can be made.

Information to include in a notice

Item	What to provide
Your contact details	Your full name, a reliable email address, telephone number if appropriate, and the preferred method for follow-up. If you represent an organization or rights holder, identify that relationship clearly.
Original copyrighted work	A description of the original work you believe has been infringed. If available, include the original publication location, title, creator, ownership information, or other details that help identify the work.
Material being reported	The exact URL of the page containing the disputed material and a description of its location on that page. For multiple items, list each relevant URL separately and identify the corresponding content.
Good-faith statement	A statement explaining that you believe, in good faith, that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, the owner's agent, or applicable law. Describe the concern accurately and avoid unsupported allegations.
Accuracy and authority statement	A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, where applicable, that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf. Any formal declaration should meet the requirements of the applicable procedure.
Identification and signature	Include any signature or other identification required for the type of notice being submitted. For a formal DMCA notice, applicable statutory requirements may include a physical or electronic signature and specific declarations.
Supporting context	If relevant, provide information about licensing, permissions, publication history, or prior correspondence that may help establish the status of the work. Send only information necessary to explain the claim, and avoid including unrelated sensitive personal data.

Review and possible action

After receiving a report, Momentum Hub may review the identified material, assess whether the notice contains sufficient information, and request clarification where necessary. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, possible steps may include removing or disabling access to identified material, correcting a publication, contacting the relevant contributor, or taking no action if the report does not establish a sufficient basis for intervention.

Any temporary restriction should be understood as a review measure rather than an automatic finding of wrongdoing. The appropriate response depends on the material, the information supplied, any relevant authorization, and the legal obligations that apply. Submission of a complaint does not guarantee removal, a particular response time, or a specific outcome.

Counter-notice review

If material has been removed or access has been restricted following a copyright complaint and the affected party believes that the action resulted from a mistake or misidentification, they may contact [email protected] to ask about the review process. Explain which material was affected, identify the original page if known, and provide the reason you believe the action was incorrect.

A formal DMCA counter-notice may have specific requirements, including identification of the removed material, statements made under penalty of perjury, contact details, consent to the relevant jurisdiction, and a physical or electronic signature. The exact requirements depend on the circumstances and applicable law. An informal email requesting reconsideration may not satisfy the legal requirements for a formal counter-notice.

Where a valid formal counter-notice is received, the applicable statutory process may require additional steps and may allow a rights holder to pursue legal action within a prescribed period. No particular restoration or removal outcome is guaranteed by this general website notice.

Repeat complaints and incomplete reports

Reports that omit essential details, identify no specific material, or provide insufficient information to assess the claimed rights may require follow-up before further action is considered. Duplicate reports may be reviewed together when they concern the same material, while reports about different works or page locations should identify those differences clearly.

Momentum Hub may restrict access to material while a credible complaint is being assessed, where appropriate and consistent with applicable law. Repeated copyright concerns may be considered in context, but no automatic penalty or conclusion should be inferred solely from the number of reports received. False, misleading, or knowingly inaccurate statements can have legal consequences under applicable law.

Permissions and authorized use

Before submitting a complaint, consider whether the material may have been licensed, used with permission, supplied by an authorized contributor, or otherwise permitted under applicable law. Likewise, anyone submitting text, photographs, product images, diagrams, or cycling resources for publication should ensure they have the necessary rights or authorization to provide that material.

If you believe that a copyright concern can be resolved through a correction, attribution update, permission confirmation, or replacement of an image, explain that option in your message. Such requests may help clarify the issue, although they do not replace any formal notice requirements that apply to a statutory claim.

Contact and scope of this notice

Send copyright-related correspondence to [email protected] . Use a clear subject line such as "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Counter-Notice Inquiry" and include the relevant page URLs. For general bicycle sales, repairs, or maintenance questions, use the same contact address but describe the service request separately so it can be directed appropriately.

It is not legal advice, does not replace the requirements of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act or other applicable law, and does not create a guarantee that a complaint or counter-notice will be accepted.
